Church Governance

“….but whoever desires to be become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires  to be first among you, let him be your slave, just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”  Matthew 20 v 26 -28

The church has recognised those who should be leaders and servants and has set them aside ” ..to  prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” Ephesians 4 v 12

The church is led and served by a Church Council consisting of elders and deacons.

The Church Council all mutually submit themselves to Jesus Christ just as He was in submission to the Father.

administration and finance

“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion……And God is able to make all grace abound towards you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, have an abundance for every good work. ” 2 Corinthians 9 v 7 – 8

The administration of the church is conducted according to Christian principles and to reflect the Glory of God. We aim to have high standards in the management of the affairs of the church. These standards are applied in our approach to both financial and secretarial administration.
Those attending  the church fully support the church through the giving of their money, time and energy as the the Lord directs their hearts. The finances of the church are used to support ministry in the church, missionary work, the church building, those in special need and in many other ways.
The church operates as a registered charity and operates an appropriate financial accounting system, which is independently examined. Finances are prioritised and used to the Glory of God and the extension of His Kingdom.
